Bruns Acoustics is excited about its latest member to the team. Andy Jeffery is a master leathersmith, a craftsman in the true sense of the word. His exceptional leather work has been adorn by captains of industry and heads of state as well as motorcycle and car enthusiasts all over the world. Andy's workshop is like stepping back in time, vintage sewing machines, hand tools that that date back to the turn of the century and that distinctive smell of vegetable tanned leather. Andy's own passion for vintage motorcycles, airplanes, car racing and all types of handcrafted disciplines makes him a tremendous asset to the Bruns custom shop team. THE BEAUTY OF CAMPHOR

A young Camphor tree can grow to this size in just 10 years. Preparing the logs to be run through the timber mill. Each log is cut into slabs to be dried There is nothing like the smell of fresh cut camphor Logs slabbed and ready for the kiln Stickered and banded to keep it straight during the drying process. The amazing grain of the heartwood. It's hard to believe that this beautiful timber is considered a noxious weed.
